My name is   

WIDY TAURUS SANDY

I was born in Lumajang, April 1979. I also grow up in that small city in south-east of East Java Province.

Now, I live in Jember, it's a small region in East Java Province in Indonesia. it's 70 Km east of Lumajang city.

I was graduate from Faculty of Economy in University of Jember. I take my specialize in Economics and Development Studies. and now, I take my postgraduate in agribussiness study in the same university.

I have hobby in reading and writing anything that i like and i should....playing drum, listening jazz music, drawing and painting and also get a new friends.

I am a teacher in Senior High School of Yayasan Pengembangan Pendidikan Indonesia 2 (SMA-YPPI2) in Surabaya. I teach an economic study.

Beside that, I am a non-active researcher at Center for Economic and Social Analysis (CESA) or Pusat Pengkajian Ekonomi dan Sosial (PPES) in Jember. It is a Research Institute at Jember that sometimes become government counsultant in development policy making, especially in Rural and Regional Development. Besides research activity, PPES also giving some advocation to the poor people in Jember especially in household management and decision making knowledge.

My specialize in PPES is Human Development and Rural Development analysis. At this Institution, I am an expert of qualitative methodology such as like Deep Interview, Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), Delphi Analysis, Quick Scan Analysis (QSA), Regression, Probit-Logit-Tobit, Multivariat Analysis, and SWOT analysis.
